AG TO PARTNER WITH UAB AND U-HAUL INTERNATIONAL AT
“ARRIVE ALIVE: STOP THE TEXTS, STOP THE WRECKS!” EVENT
(MONTGOMERY) – On Monday, June 24th, Attorney General Luther Strange will partner with U-Haul and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) to present the “Arrive Alive: Stop the Texts, Stop the Wrecks!” event to raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving in Alabama. The event will begin with a press conference highlighting the partnership between U-Haul, UAB, and Attorney General Strange’s Office. The “Arrive Alive: Stop the Texts, Stop the Wrecks!” program, hosted at the UAB Campus Recreation Facility, will feature the “Save-A-Life Tour, Distracted-Driving Program” which will showcase high-intensity videos rolling on huge monitors, with show presenters engaging attendees. The press and public are invited to attend.
